Canines Uncorked is a fun-filled event at Ashton Creek Vineyard on August 14, 2021, from 1 - 5 PM with wine, food, live music, raffles, and plenty of adorable dogs looking for homes.
This event will help C.A.R.E. raise funds to save homeless dogs from dying in animal shelters and to find them loving, permanent homes.

What: Adorable dogs available for adoption, live music, plus wine and food, What could be better? There will be merchandise for sale and raffle tickets may be purchased for many great items. This is not a ticketed event.

Raffle and Prizes
​
You can purchase raffle tickets and win big at Canines Uncorked. Stay tuned for a list of the amazing items we will have in the raffle.

We will also have a wine pull. This fun activity gives each participant the opportunity to take home an amazing Ashton Creek Vineyard bottled wine or one of many wine-related gifts at Canines Uncorked. A person buys a numbered token and wins the corresponding bottle of wine, and then pulls off the wrapping to see what kind of bottle they won. You have the chance to win a bottle of wine valued higher, but each participant purchases a bottle for a fixed amount (i.e. $20).

In order to make the wine pull successful, your help is needed. We need bottles of wine! For only $25, past adopters and CARE supporters may sponsor a bottle of wine in honor of, or in memory of, your adopted dog. Learn how to participate.

Please consider donating to support our mission. Capital Area Rescue Effort, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) rescue raising funds to support our sanctuary dogs and offset veterinary expenses. Donations are accepted via PayPal, at our adoption stands, or mailed to us at P.O. Box 575, Sandston, Virginia 23150.
